Shevrin “Shev” Jones is a dedicated educator and public servant with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. He began his career teaching A.P. Chemistry at Florida Atlantic University High in Broward County, where he witnessed firsthand the inequities present in education and society. This inspired him to transition into public service.

Jones has a strong background in fostering collaborative relationships to address community needs effectively. He is committed to advocating for initiatives that enhance the lives of families, ensuring safety and accountability in various sectors. Throughout his career, Jones has worked on diverse projects, from supporting educational reforms to promoting health and wellness in the community.

Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University, reflecting his passion for advancing educational equity. Jones is also a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and continues to make significant contributions to the field of education and community development.
