The Inland Valleys’ active transportation networks in San Bernardino and Riverside County met in September. These networks convene stakeholders from city and county agencies, public health departments and community based organizations. Each network heard from guest speakers from Climate Plan, who dove into the implementation of Senate Bill 1 and how its programs will impact the Inland Valleys. Network participants also learned about OPR’s General Plan guidelines, International Walk to School Day in the counties, and ATP Augmentation awardees in the region. The network meetings are co-convened by the local jurisdictions and the Safe Routes Partnership.
