Advocates in the Central Valley, including the members of the Stanislaus Sustainable Communities Coalition, submitted comments on draft amendments to the City of Modesto General Plan. The General Plan guides development and must address issues such as transportation, housing, and conservation. The coalition comments focus on addressing equity, environmental justice, Complete Streets, affordable housing, and access to parks and healthy retail.
