We are hosting a free virtual training on effective and authentic community engagement for Safe Routes to School on October 20 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Eastern.
Earlier this year, the Safe Routes Partnership added Engagement as a foundational component of the Safe Routes to School 6 E’s framework. Over the next few months, we will be rolling out a number of resources to support Safe Routes to School practitioners in effectively engaging community members. Join us for the first in this series of resources – a FREE virtual training on effective and authentic community engagement for Safe Routes to School. Led by Charles Taylor of Peyton Strategies, this training will cover best practices and innovative strategies for engaging a wide range of community members and stakeholders. The training will be interactive; come prepared to try out different techniques and think about using them in your own work.
Note: This training is limited to 200 participants. Please only sign up if you are planning on participating in the whole training, including the interactive breakout sessions. If you are interested in viewing on the presentation portion of the training, a recording will be made available on our website following the training.
