Planning for the Future: Safe Routes to School Advocacy and National Program Highlights

Wednesday, May 18th, 3pm CT

Our final Houston Safe Routes to School webinar will feature highlights from three programs across the country. See how communities in Charlotte, the D.C. Metro, and Tucson are using Safe Routes to School to improve safety, educate students on walking and biking, and advance larger health and wellness initiatives. We will also share helpful strategies around advocating for Safe Routes to School funding and resources to help get your program off the ground. Learn who to connect with on a district/county/city level, what to ask for, and how to build a coalition of advocates. This session will leave you inspired and equipped to make Safe Routes to School a reality in your own community!
