Colorado Safe Routes to School aims to serve a diverse population. Join us as we explore strategies for culturally responsive Safe Routes to School programming and what you can do to engage students and families facing barriers to participation like racial and cultural norms, language, and income. This webinar will be divided into two parts: a presentation and an interactive breakout group activity. The presentation will focus on strategies for culturally responsive programming based on Colorado’s community engagement guide – Working Together to Make Meaningful Change. During the group activity, you will put those strategies into practice to develop a community engagement approach for connecting with new and diverse audiences. We invite all our valued community members to share their unique perspectives.
