Clif Kid Walk and Bike to School Promotion

 Clif Kid Promotion

As we all head back to school, it is exciting to see more and more children and their families walking and bicycling to school each morning.

At the Safe Routes to School National Partnership, we love supporting your efforts every step of the way – from helping with policy changes to advocating for funds to build sidewalks or bike paths, and to make street crossings safer. Now, in partnership with Clif Kid, we are here to help make your Walk to School Day efforts healthy, fun and nutritious!

This fall, Clif Kid is supporting schools around the country with Walk and Bike School Day kits complete with tips for a great Safe Routes to School activities, reflective stickers, 250 Clif Kid snacks and a congratulations banner kids can sign.

Clif Kid is helping us build awareness through a contest and promotions that you may have seen on their Facebook page and have generously made additional kits exclusively available to us. Through your relationship with the National Partnership, we can help make sure your school receives one of these 700 kits. (Please don't enter the contest too but be sure to Like Clif Kid on Facebook as a thank you for all they are doing!) These kits will go fast – so please respond by September 12 by sending an email to beth@saferoutespartnership.org  with the information listed below. Clif Kid will send you a kit directly by the end of September.

Then at your Walk to School Day festivities in October, take photos of your event, kids munching on Clif Kid snacks or signing the banner and send your photos to us to promote on the Safe Routes to School National Partnership's Facebook page. When requesting a kit, you will simply be committing to having a great Walk to School Day event, something we know is already happening all over the country, and to completing our follow up survey.

We are happy to work with national partners such as Clif Kid to continue to promote and support all the terrific Safe Routes to School efforts happening in more than 12,000 schools across the country.
