Marketing and Communications Manager
Margaux Mennesson serves as Marketing and Communications Manager for the Safe Routes to School National Partnership, handling all communications, marketing and media activities for the organization. She manages online marketing and social media, and produces and designs content for web and print publications. She also assists with managing marketing and communications for the Fire Up Your Feet program.
Prior to joining the National Partnership, Margaux served as communications director at the Bicycle Transportation Alliance in Portland, Oregon, where she refined the organization's brand strategy, managed digital communication strategies, and maximized earned media exposure. She has also worked as a communications and marketing consultant for small businesses and nonprofits. She has been a regular contributor and guest writer for blogs and publications including Street Roots, Bicycle Paper, and Oregon Walks.
Originally from Bend, Oregon, Margaux received her Bachelors degree from Lewis and Clark College where she majored in history and French. She enjoys cross country skiing and running.
