You may remember that at the May meeting of the California Transportation Commission (CTC), CalTrans’ request to withhold $100 from the SHOPP for Complete Streets improvements was partially approved. We’re happy to report that at the June meeting, the remaining $58 million was approved without opposition. In the coming months, we and partners including California Walks, the California Bicycle Coalition, AARP and ClimatePlan will be working with CalTrans to identify which segments of the State Highway Network have the highest need and community desire for those Complete Streets investments
